Usage tips for the AI

snori works on request: tell your connected AI in plain words what you want – it reads, creates and maintains your pages. Here are concrete phrasings that reliably work.

One tip first: name the exact title of a page and say the type (“as a to-do list”, “as a table with the columns …”). Then the AI does exactly the right thing.

Quick commands

“Status”Am I connected? Which workspace, and what may I do?
“Help”All capabilities at a glance – plus your concrete rights.
“Overview”All pages, grouped into documents, to-dos, tables and lists.
“Current tasks”The open items of your to-do list.
“Insights”Numbers & fun facts: words, favourite words, biggest page …

The basics

📄 Pages

Create a text page:

“Create a text page ‘Meeting 12 July’.”

Create a subpage:

“Create a subpage ‘Minutes’ under ‘Project Alpha’.”

Add something (nothing is overwritten):

“Append the three key decisions to ‘Meeting 12 July’.”

Replace/change content (needs the “overwrite” right):

“On ‘Offer text’ replace the second paragraph with: …”

Delete a page (the AI asks first):

“Delete the page ‘Test note’.”

✅ To-do lists

Create a list:

“Create a to-do list ‘Website relaunch’.”

Task with due date and assignee:

“On ‘Website relaunch’ add the task ‘Deliver copy’, due 20 July, assigned to Anna.”

Check off a task (needs “overwrite”):

“Mark the task ‘Deliver copy’ on ‘Website relaunch’ as done.”

Show open tasks:

“Show me the open tasks on ‘Website relaunch’.”

Assignee: just name a workspace member – the AI maps it to the “Assignee” column. Due dates are understood as a date (“20 July”, “next Friday”).

▦ Tables

Create a table with your own columns:

“Create a table ‘Leads’ with the columns Company, Contact, Email and Status.”

Add a row:

“Add the row Muster Ltd, Ms Meyer, [email protected], Status New to ‘Leads’.”

Read a table:

“Read out the table ‘Leads’ for me.”

🔎 Read & find

“What's in my workspace?”
“What's on the page ‘Project plan’?”

Whole workflows – step by step

Expand a use case. You can copy the sentences directly and adapt them.

Build a content plan

As a table the AI fills with ideas right away:

“Create a table ‘Content plan July’ with the columns Date, Channel, Topic, Format and Status.”
“Fill the content plan with 8 post ideas for LinkedIn and Instagram around [your topic], spread evenly across the month, each with a format and status ‘Idea’.”
“In the content plan, change the status of ‘[Title]’ to ‘In progress’.”

Tip: explicitly say “as a table” and name the columns – that way it becomes a real table, not prose.

Store research

The AI researches with its own means; snori stores the result in a structured way.

“Create a table ‘Competitors’ with the columns Company, Website, Strength and Price level.”
“Research the 5 most important competitors in [industry] and add them to the ‘Competitors’ table with a short strength and website.”

Prefer prose?

“Create a text page ‘Market research [topic]’ and write a short paragraph per competitor with website and highlight.”
Organise tasks & a project
“Create a to-do list ‘Project [name]’.”
“Add the tasks: Concept (assigned Tom, due 15 July), Design (Anna, 22 July), Build (Tom, 5 Aug).”
“Show me all open tasks of ‘Project [name]’.”
“Mark ‘Concept’ as done.”
Meeting notes → tasks
“Create a text page ‘Meeting 12 July’ and write my notes into it: …”
“Turn the decisions into a to-do list ‘Tasks meeting 12 July’ with due dates and assign them to the named people.”
How to phrase it so the AI gets it right
  • Name the exact page title in quotes – no mix-ups.
  • Say the type: “as a to-do list”, “as a table with the columns …”, “as a text page”.
  • Say whether to add or replace – by default the AI only adds.
  • Ask for a check: “… and then verify it was really created.”
  • If it’s rejected, the AI tells you why (usually a missing right) – enable it under “AI & API access”.

Good to know: the AI appends by default and overwrites nothing. Overwriting, changing a row and deleting only work if you've allowed those rights. Every answer ends by telling you the workspace it worked in.
