A CRM or ERP manages structured records: contacts, deals, invoices, stock. What rarely fits in there is the loose knowledge around it – call notes, research findings, agreed procedures, handbooks. That knowledge lives in snori. Connect the two systems and snori becomes the memory alongside the record silo: structured, searchable and open in both directions.
What are CRM and ERP?
A CRM (customer relationship management) gathers everything to do with customers and prospects: contact details, sales opportunities, quotes, the history of a relationship. Well-known systems are HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce. An ERP (enterprise resource planning) goes further and steers a company's internal resources – inventory, accounting, HR, production. Both worlds are built to keep records: row by row, field by field. They are strong at capturing and reporting, but weak wherever knowledge flows freely and does not fit into a field. A knowledge platform like snori fills that gap.
snori and your CRM/ERP: the two directions
Every connection has a direction. With snori both are possible, often at the same time.
snori as the target – context comes in
The moment a new contact appears in your CRM or a deal changes stage, that information can flow as a row into a smart table or as a new page in snori. You build a knowledge file for each customer that goes far beyond the master data – with nobody retyping anything.
snori as the source – knowledge goes out
The other way round, you create a customer note, a research entry or a new table row in snori, and the relevant fields travel back into the CRM or ERP. snori becomes the clean, curated point of truth that feeds your systems.
How to set up the connection
- In snori, open the settings for the Workspace API and create an access key for this specific workspace.
- You decide what that key may do: read only, append, change or also delete.
- You connect your CRM/ERP either directly through its interface or via an automation service like Zapier, Make or n8n – where you enter the snori key.
- Done: from now on the data flows in the direction you set.
No server, no code, no ongoing maintenance on the snori side.
Who can access your data
This is where snori is different. An access key in snori can never do more than you allow. You decide separately for each connection: may the CRM only append new entries, or also overwrite existing ones? See only this one workspace, or several? Every change is versioned and can be rolled back. So you enable the connection without losing control of your content – and your data stays encrypted in a German data centre.
snori does not replace a CRM – it complements it
snori is not sales software and does not want to be. It is the knowledge memory alongside, holding the context a record silo cannot capture. Which CRM you use is secondary: for HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce there are dedicated pages covering the specifics of each system. Technically everything runs over the same Workspace API – whether your system is large or small.
