snori for music schools

Students, pieces and practice progress in one place – snori sets up your teaching day with ready-made templates, and your AI helps prepare lessons.

As a music teacher you teach an instrument or voice – privately, at a music school or online. Yet your knowledge about each student tends to scatter: student lists in notebooks, pieces on scraps of paper, appointments in your calendar. Where does this student stand, which piece are they practising, what is the next step? snori brings it all into one place and gives every student a clear structure before the next lesson begins.

Why the overview breaks down so quickly

Across several students, instruments and levels you juggle dozens of small facts: which passage stumbled last time, which exercise was agreed for next lesson, how far along is the piece now? When those threads live across a music folder, chat and calendar, you lose time searching – and, in the worst case, the thread of each student's progress. That quietly costs the calm preparation that makes a lesson truly good.

How snori sets up your music school day

You create a workspace, pick the music school template world – and your space is filled instantly. Not a blank page, but a thought-through foundation: prospects, students, lessons, courses and a practice-progress log. You keep what fits and delete what doesn't. Instead of starting from zero, you start with the order experienced music teachers would keep anyway.

The pages snori creates for you right away

  • Prospects – each enquiry with status and next step until the student starts
  • Students – a table with instrument, level, course, goal and next lesson
  • Student profile – one template per student: starting point, goal and agreements
  • Lessons – one record per session: focus, key result, agreed tasks
  • Practice progress – a log per piece: state and next step, made visible piece by piece
  • Courses, tasks, marketing – for groups, open items and a content plan
  • Documents & onboarding guide – ready to share, plus an AI prompt pack

Your AI helps out – only as far as you allow

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or another AI directly to your music school workspace. It then summarises the last lesson note in two sentences, prepares the next session, or shows you every student without a scheduled next appointment – but strictly within the limits you set. Your AI can never do more than you can: for each area you decide whether it may only read, add to, or touch nothing at all. And because snori versions every change, nothing is lost when you experiment. snori also runs entirely without AI – the connection is an extra, never a requirement.

Share practice plans and sheet music with students

A practice plan for the coming week, a sheet-music PDF, an onboarding guide for new students: in snori you turn any page into a shareable link – with no account needed for the recipient. You add your own logo, protect it with a password or expiry date, and see in the statistics how often it was opened in the last 24 hours, 7 or 30 days. Students and parents see exactly what is meant for them – the rest of your workspace stays private.

Secure, German, nothing gets lost

Student data is confidential – often involving minors. snori stores your data encrypted in an ISO/IEC 27001-certified data center in Germany, two-factor sign-in is mandatory, and every page can be rolled back to an earlier state. Deleted items sit in the trash for 30 days. So you work with peace of mind – even when an AI is writing alongside you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use snori without AI?

Yes. snori is first and foremost a cleanly structured workspace for your teaching. Connecting an AI is optional and can be switched on or off at any time.

Can I collect new enquiries automatically?

Yes. From any table you build an enquiry form: interested people fill it in, the entry lands instantly as a new row in your prospect list – no retyping. Public sharing requires a stored legal notice (Impressum).

Do I have to build everything myself?

No. When you create the workspace you pick the music school template, and the relevant pages appear immediately – including short practical tips. You just adapt them to your instruments.

Can I work with colleagues?

Yes. You invite colleagues with roles and fine-grained page access – from full access to read-only or fully hidden.
