In snori the table is part of your knowledge, not a file beside it. You build it right in the block editor, in the middle of the page where your notes and documents live too. Every column gets a real type – text, number, date, select, yes/no – so content stays clean instead of someone typing "yes", "Yes" and "✓" into the same column. That's structure, not just a grid.
Formulas, colour rules, dropdowns
What you value about Excel is here – without the file ballast. You calculate with formulas across columns and rows, highlight important values automatically with a colour rule (red below target, green above), and keep entries clean with dropdowns so only allowed values get in. A list becomes a small, living system – budget, content plan, inventory, tasks – without you opening a spreadsheet program.
Shareable without sending it
Instead of passing the file around, you turn the page with the table into a shareable link – branded with your logo, protected by password and expiry date, with no account for the recipient. Change a number and everyone with access sees the new state at once. No more "file_final_v3.xlsx" going stale in five inboxes – there's exactly one table, and it's always current.
Your AI reads the table
The difference from a file: your connected AI – ChatGPT, Claude or another – can read the table directly and work with it. It answers questions about your numbers, summarises or adds rows when you allow it. And because the AI can never do more than you can, you decide whether it only reads or also writes. An Excel file in an attachment can't do that.
