Zapier is the best-known service for connecting programs without writing code. With snori as a fixed endpoint, your workspace becomes a hub: data flows in the moment something happens somewhere, and flows out the moment you create something in snori. What is Zapier?
Zapier is a no-code platform from the US that has grown into the market leader for workflow automation since 2011. Over 7,000 apps are connected – from Gmail and Google Sheets to Facebook Lead Ads and CRM systems like HubSpot or Pipedrive. The concept is called a "Zap": a trigger in one app starts one or more actions in other apps. A new lead, a new email, a new row in a table – Zapier notices and passes the data on. That is exactly where snori fits in: as a source and as a target.
snori and Zapier: the two directions
Every connection has a direction. With snori both are possible, often at the same time.

A contact fills in your ad form, someone books an appointment, an order arrives: Zapier catches the event and writes it as a new row into a smart table in snori, or creates a new page. Your knowledge gathers itself, structured and in one place, instead of scattered across five inboxes.
snori as the source – data goes out
You create a new table row or page in snori, and Zapier carries it onward: as a contact into your CRM, as a message in Slack, as a row in Google Sheets, as the trigger for an email sequence. snori becomes the central point of truth that feeds your other tools.
How to set up the connection
- In snori, open the settings for the Workspace API and create an access key for this specific workspace.
- You decide what that key may do: read only, append, change or also delete.
- In Zapier you use the "Webhooks" step or the API connection and enter the key.
- Done: from now on the data flows in the direction you set.
No server, no code, no ongoing maintenance – the connection runs as long as your Zap is active.
Who can access your data
This is where snori is different. An access key in snori can never do more than you allow. You decide separately for each connection: may Zapier only append new entries, or also overwrite existing ones? See only this one workspace, or several? Every change is versioned and can be rolled back. So you hand off the automation without losing control of your content – and your data stays encrypted in a German data centre.
Zapier, Make or n8n – which fits?
Zapier is the simplest and has the most ready-made apps, but gets expensive at high volume. Make offers more logic for the money, and n8n you can even self-host and keep the data entirely with you. For snori it makes no difference: all three speak the same interface. If you like, you can also connect snori directly via the Workspace API, with no service in between.
